The whole of rugged Scottish west coast is known to house numerous lighthouses. One of the most popular lighthouses of Scotland is the Neist Point Lighthouse, located along the North East corner of the Isle of Skye near Waterstein. Built way back in 1909, this 19 meter tall tower has a range of nearly 16 miles and is accessible only by foot. However, the 45 minutes walk to this lighthouse is made worthwhile by the picturesque surroundings and facilities. |
